Afghanistan is going through a huge political, economic and social transition since America announced full withdrawal of its troops after a 20-year long war and eventually the Taliban claimed power over the country. Ethnic minorities of Afghanistan have been facing atrocities and been oppressed for years.

Recently an image is being shared on social media along with the #StopHazaragenocide with context to the atrocities committed over the Hazara community of Afghanistan.

The Twitter post claims: "On December 9, 1948, the United Nations declared genocide a serious international crime and vowed to take disciplinary action against the perpetrators. But not sure why are they still silent regarding Hazara's Genocide!"
