However, several old videos and images are being shared among social media users with context to a series of clashes between Pakistani and Afghan forces along Durand Line.

However, Fact Crescendo’s findings show that an old video of clashes between Taliban and National resistance front (NRF) in Panjshir has been shared with false claims of fresh clashes and casualties along Durand Line.

As per latest media reports the conflict situation and hostility along Durand Line at Pakistan-Afghanistan border has further escalated since Pakistani airstrike in Afghanistan and the retaliation of Afghan forces. 11 Pakistani soldiers were killed in fresh border clashes with Taliban.
However, the video being shared recently on social media is not related to any recent incident concerning Pakistan-Afghanistan Hostility. We applied Google reverse search on the key fragments from the shared clip for our investigation. The reverse image search led us to a website named VIVA News & Insights and an image was also shared in the article published by the website on 6 September 2021, which depicted the Horrifying Taliban attack on the National Resistance Front in Panjshir soon post Taliban Takeover of Afghanistan in August 2021.
Heavy clashes erupted between Taliban and National Resistance (NRF) forces in Panjshir Valley post Taliban Takeover of Afghanistan and Taliban took control of most of Panjshir Valley.
Conclusion
Hence, from the above investigation, it is clear that an old video of Taliban fighting National Resistance Front in Panjshir in September 2021 soon post takeover over Afghanistan.
