The Twitter post claims that this girl is one of million Hazara children of Afghanistan who are being deprived of Basic education by the Taliban in Afghanistan.

However, Fact Crescendo's findings show that unrelated image of a Palestinian girl is being shared with the claims.

Fact check;

We started our investigation by applying Google reverse image search on the shared image by applying Google reverse image search on the shared image. During investigation, the girl who is being claimed to be from the Hazara community of Afghanistan actually belongs to Gaza in Palestine.

If we look closely, the name of the photographer (Fadi Thabet) has been written in the picture of the crying girl.

Further, we found that Fadi Thabet is a freelance journalist in Gaza, Palestine. He has shared the image of this girl on his Instagram handle and mentioned that the girl belonged to Gaza, Palestine.

In the caption of the Instagram post he mentioned,

"Share this photo to be an icon of the Right to Education and Life, share this photo of this little girl from Gaza Strip to send a message to the free world that the occupation is the worst of what humanity has ever produced, and that the children worldwide have their rights preserved in accordance to the International agreements.

Support this photo by sharing it so that the complete truth can reach the free world."

Conclusion;

From the above investigation, it is clear that the girl, whose image is being shared, is from Gaza, Palestine. She does not belong to the Hazara community of Afghanistan.
