A photo of a military operation from Helmand province of Afghanistan went viral as photo of a building gutted down by fire in Maidan-Wardak province of Afghanistan. Many news agencies and social media users published it as the burned building in Behsud District of Maidan-Wardak. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On February.2.2021 Afghani social media accounts and some news agencies, including the Pajhwok Afghan news<\/a> and Mir Rahman Rahmani<\/a> published a photo claimed to be the photo of a burned building in Behsud district of Maidan-Wardak. You can see their posts in the collage given below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We did a Google reverse image search of the image and found that the photo does not belong to Behsud district of Maidan-Wardak, province of Afghanistan. It shows that Tolonews<\/a> had published this image on October.12.2020, which is from a military operation carried out in Helmand province of Afghanistan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
