According to published reports<\/a>, on Sunday, August 11, 2024, an explosion in the Dasht-E-Barchi area of Kabul resulted in one death and left 11 others injured. The explosion was caused by a mine planted in a passenger car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the explosion, several social media users shared an image claimed to be of an ambulance transporting the injured. The picture shows braided, bloody hair hanging from the trunk door of a car, with the Persian text ‘Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’ visible on the trunk door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some users shared this photo with a caption that says \u201cAfghanistan is a prison and a place of punishment for women\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, the findings regarding this image shows that this image is not related to the Kabul`s explosion, but is an edited and old image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
