Self-proclaimed government of Taliban is being accused of violating human rights and committing atrocities against Afghan civilians. Women are being forced to stay behind closed doors and not allowed to even avail basic human needs like education.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Fact Crescendo’s findings show that the social media claims are misleading and an old and unrelated image is being shared on social media. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fact check<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We did a reverse image search of the viral image. We found that the viral image is old and is not related to the claim being made. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The image has been circulating on social media from last year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We found a Twitter user who shared the same image on 7 March 2021. Hence, it is clear that image is at least one year old.\u00a0 According the user, the image is of a Pakistani Transgender woman who was brutally torched and beaten by a man in public view.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As per his bio, the user Shahzad Hussain is a journalist and columnist. He claims that a man named Mansoor Khan to a wedding invited the transgender woman. The same man later assaulted her. This incident took place at Warsak Road in Pakistan. Hence, it is clear that an old image is being shared with a false claim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
