Clashes erupted between Pakistani police and supporters of Former Pakistani Prime minister Imran Khan in the aftermath of police trying to arrest the politician.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers and police clashed on March 15, in Lahore's Zaman Park area.
An image is being recently shared on social media with context to clashes at Zaman park.
Recently an image is being shared on social media claiming that the shared image was taken while a policeman was trying to hit a woman with Gun in Zaman Park.

One of the social media claims which was originally written in Urdu language, mentioned: "This photo of a policeman hitting a woman with a gun butt is from Zaman Park
I assert that if the system of Pakistan had punished the characters of the "Model Town Tragedy", these scenes would not have been seen again in Pakistan."
However, Fact Crescendo's findings show that an older image from Afghanistan is being shared out of context.
FACT CHECK:
The news of clashes between Imran Khan's supporters and Pakistani police at Zaman park on 15 March while Police was conducting an arrest operation against former prime minister Imran Khan. According to a news article published by THE HINDU, Clashes were reported between PTI supporters and Police.
We further applied Google reverse image search on the shared image in order to find out the truth behind the shared image. During investigation, we found that a similar image was published by an Australian news website named GREEN LEFT on 13 October 2022. The published article titled: “Afghanistan: Hazaras in Kabul appeal for protection, visas” The published the same image as the shared image .
The report further mentioned; “A member of the Taliban security forces threatens a protester in Kabul.”
Conclusion
Hence, From the above investigation, it is clear that an older image from a protest in Kabul is being shared with context to the recent clashes between PTI supporters and Pakistani police. The social media claims are misleading as the shared image is old and unrelated to the mentioned incident.
