A violent video going viral on the internet shows some people kneeling while a few men shoot them all. Following the visuals of the gruesome killing of the men who were kneeling down, we can see that some occupants on a truck are also killed. This video is going viral with the claim that these are visuals of the Taliban’s atrocities on the people of Afghanistan, with a few posts also having communal remarks.

Fact Crescendo’s research shows that that the video going viral was created by combining two different old unrelated videos. Both the videos have nothing to do with the present, with Afghanistan or with the Taliban.
Fact Check Methodology
We started the investigation by doing a reverse image search on Google by splitting the viral video into keyframes using the InVid- We Verify tool. We saw that this viral video is actually made up of two different videos.
About the first video:
This is the part of video we see upto 00.19 minutes. During investigation, we found that pictures of the scene in this video were previously published on Valiasr-aj on October 1, 2016 . According to the article, the video is from Baghdad, Iraq. The people who can be seen committing violence in the video are members of ISIL or ISIS . As you may know, ISIL is the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levent a militant group, also known as Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
Information about the above video has also been given in a news article published by Elaph.com on 24 September 2016 . According to this article, the video was circulated by ISIS. The video shows a group of ISIS, some of them dressed in Arab outfits, some of them with machine guns. The blindfolded victims seen in the video are kneeling down with handcuffs on their hands. It is also written in the article that according to the comment given in the video broadcast by ISIS, the victims are from the Iraq army. He is a member of Popular Mobilization Formation. Popular Mobilization Formation is an organization created by the Iraqi government. It was created to fight against ISIS.
About the Second Video:
The second part of this video begins from 00.20 minutes. We saw that a screenshot from this part of the video has been published in a news website, Farsnews.IR. It is written in the report that the person shooting the victims is a member of ISIS. According to this article, this picture and viral video have been circulated by ISIS. It is also written in it that this picture is from the Camp Speicher massacre carried out by the ISIS in Iraq in the year 2014 .
Upon further investigation we found an article published by Al Bawaba News on 12 July 2015 . It states that a 23-minute video was released by ISIS after the Camp Speicher massacre in 2014. The victims were captured and killed at the Speicher military base near the city of Tikrit in Iraq. We came to know that the second part of the viral video is a part of this 23-minute video.
What is the Camp Speicher Massacre?
ISIL fighters had captured and murdered at least 1,500 Iraqi Air Force cadets outside Tikrit Air Academy (formerly known as Camp Speicher). At the time of the massacre, there were between 5,000 and 10,000 unarmed cadets in the camp and ISIL fighters selected the Shias and non-Muslims for execution. It is the second deadliest act of terrorism in history, only surpassed by the September 11 attacks.
Conclusion
After checking the facts, we found that the claim made with the video going viral is False. This video was created by combining two different old videos. Both the videos have nothing to do with the current situation or with Afghanistan and the Taliban.
